Life Care Center of Athens, Tennessee, recently achieved a deficiency-free health survey.
To pass the health survey each year, nursing facilities must meet hundreds of criteria. These address not only nursing care and resident safety, but also patients’ rights, food services and administration. Surveyors spend several days in the building reviewing paperwork, observing resident care and interviewing residents and associates.
“My team and I are dedicated to providing our residents with excellent care,” said Jeffrey Ricks, executive director. “We are thrilled with the outcome of our last annual state survey that demonstrates our daily commitment to excellence.”
Life Care Center of Athens’ survey was completed on Dec. 5, 2018.
